Not Sure What Happened Here!

Not sure what happened with my blog in the past few months. I see they have all disappeared! Which means I am getting a fresh start with this blog. It's a mystery what caused them to vanish as I am the only one with editing access to my blog. Hmmmmm...
It's fall here in the western North Dakota badlands. It has been a weird year from the start of spring up til this past week. We had a wet  spring, summer and fall. This meant a good hay crop, good grazing and plenty of water in the creek, ponds and dugouts. The summer got a late start. Crops were planted extremely late as the fields were too muddy at times to work. Once summer did set in we had a couple weeks of dry weather. Then it seemed to rain just when we needed it. We had an amazingly good hay crop which was a true blessing. We had very, very little hay carry over from last year in the hay yards.
We cut a great crop of millet for hay, also cutting alfalfa and a large amount of grass hay.
Going into fall with ample moisture from continuing rains ensures a good start for our grass come spring.
